Beit Tarbut (“House of Culture”) is a global initiative that creates vibrant Jewish cultural spaces inspired by the values of Hashomer Hatzair. Spread across multiple cities in Europe, Latin America, and beyond, each Beit Tarbut serves as a living, local hub where community, culture, and activism intersect.

A new wave of Cultural Houses is taking shape across Europe. We have thriving communities in Budapest, Milan, and Paris, with exciting new developments growing in Belgrade, Brussels, Sofia and Zurich. Join us and discover what it means to be part of a movement that's expanding. A Beit Tarbut is a space for shomrim*ot and fellows of all the ages, providing different axes of commitment - from people that will be part of the coordination and will be present in the majority of projects to people that will only be part of some specific events.

We see different axes within Hashomer Hatzair’s ideology - from celebrating the circle of life of Humanistic Judaism, social projects in peripheries, hikes in nature, Hebrew lessons course, political events, sports groups that train and have fun together, book clubs and more. The Batei Tarbut Hagshama project allows everyone to experience shomeric life and culture! Having the possibility of giving people the place to experience their beliefs in a capitalist society-right wing and religion focused jewish community should be valued and considered part of an Hagshama path.
