Tzavta Cultural Center is the preeminent space for the development of secular humanist

Jewish life in the capital of Buenos Aires. For over 40 years, it has carried out a wide

range of activities that embrace every aspect of community life: from Bar and Bat

Mitzvah for youth and adults and Kabbalah Shabbat, to cultural activities such as an

Israeli Reading Club in Spanish, Film Screeing & Disccussion Series, and the renowned

Yom Kippur Night of Reflection.

It also publishes the historic Nueva Sion newspaper, which has 77 years of history and continues to be a permanent voice of progressive Zionism in the Jewish community in Argentina and Latin America. Together with family members, such as the Hashomer Hatzair youth movement and Meretz, we develop joint activities such as Passover, Rosh Hashanah, and Yom Kippur, attended by more than 200 people, as well as activities about Judaism and Israel.
