ACMA - the Mordechai Anielewicz Cultural Association - currently consists of three members, but operates with full participation from the São Paulo Hashomer Hatzair pehilut. This cultural center is responsible for maintaining the Shomer São Paulo house, fundraising, and investing in machanot (camps). In addition, it organizes events in partnership with IBI and Gaavah, as well as its own Tnuá initiatives. Recently, it hosted Fania Oz, daughter of the writer Amos Oz, for a discussion at the ken on Israeli politics, and has also fostered conversations about creating a more intimate and welcoming environment.
Beyond its activities, the atmosphere at Hashomer São Paulo is vibrant and deeply engaging, and the cultural center team is fully prepared to welcome the broader community with openness and care. Currently, its events are developed within the project "Finding Your Place in the Jewish Community," which explores diverse expressions of Judaism, promotes inclusion, and creates opportunities for meaningful connections and friendships.
