The Centro Progresista Judío (CPJ) of Chile, linked to Meretz, has been an active institution since the 1990s that promotes pluralism, social justice, and peace, advocating for the two-state solution. It defines itself as a space for progressive Jewish identity, seeking social cohesion and diversity in Chile and Israel.

• Founding: It was founded in 1991 in the context of the return to democracy, with the mission of being a voice for progressive Jewish identity, under the moral imperative of justice ("Tzedek tzedek tirdof").
• Vision: It defends democracy, peace, and a left-wing Zionist vision, seeking bridges of understanding and social justice.
• Activities: It participates in Chilean community and political life with a progressive perspective, connecting with the history of Latin American Jewish progressivism.
